During this Instructional Design course, we will work both individually and in groups to create plans for developing instruction. There is an emphasis on gaining a practical understanding of the instructional design process, conducting a front-end analysis, and making an instructional design blueprint.

My topic for all of these assignments is based off the idea of creating a standardized set of training modules for new prepress hires at my work at Impact XM.

Content Analysis

While working on my content analysis, I had to think about what kind of learning is missing in our current training module, how it’s all organized (or not) and how I can standardize all of it into one cohesive set of learning modules.

Objectives Practice

I found the objective practice worksheet to be incredibly useful. I was a little unsure if I really understood the difference between declarative and procedural objectives. Working on this worksheet really help solidify my understanding of it.
